* What's the difference between anionic polyacrylamide and cationic polyacrylamide?

- Anionic polyacrylamide performance is mainly depended on molecular weight, application scope including industrial wastewater treatment, tap water purification.

Cationic polyacrylamide performance is mainly depended on ion degree, application scope is sludge dewatering, municipal wastewater treatment and waste water with anionic electric charge.

Features:

1. EC-WA05 anionic polyacrylamide flocculant is a kind of water-soluble high molecular polymer. Due to some polar groups contained in its molecular chain, it can coagulate and form particles to big floc through absorbing suspended solid particles in water, making bridging between particles or charge neutralization. Those allow it to accelerate sedimentation of particles in suspension, and therefore effectively speed up clarification of solution and promote filtration. EC-WA05 anionic polyacrylamide flocculant is mainly applied for flocculating, subsiding, sedimentating and clarifying treatment of various industrial wastewater, such as wastewater of steel plant, electroplating factory, metallurgy and coal washing, etc. Furthermore, it's applicable to clarify and purify tap water too.

2. Good water-solubility, EC-WA05 anionic polyacrylamide flocculant can completely dissolve in cool water.

3. Achieve effective floccutation by small usage amount: Generally 0.01~10ppm（0.01~10g/m3）of EC-WA05 anionic polyacrylamide flocculantwill result in good effect.

4. Better effect will be realized by applying it together with iorganic flocculant (such as PFS, PAC, Iron salt) at the same time.  

Application scope:

As flocculant: For neutral or alkaline wastewater with rough, high-concentration and postive-charge suspended particles, as there are some polar groups contained in EC-WA05 anionic polyacrylamide flocculant molecular chain, which enable it to absorb suspended solid particles in water, make bridging between particles and form big flocs. That allow it to accelerate sedimentation of particles in suspension, and therefore effectively speed up clarification of solution and promote filtration. EC-WA05 anionic polyacrylamide flocculant is extensively applied to treat wastewater and waste solution of chemical industry, municipal sewage, clarification and purification of running water, high turbidity water, as well as treat wastewater of coal washing, mineral processing, metallurgy, iron and steel industry, zince/aluminium processing industry, electronic industry, etc.  

For Petroleum industry: EC-WA05 could be applied to treat oil extraction mud, drilling mud, waste mud, prevent water breakthrough, decrease friction, increase oil recovery efficiency.

As textile sizing agent: The serosity possesses stable performance, make ofsize rarely and low breakage rate of fabric, make fabric bright and clean.

For papermaking industry: Firstly, increase retention ratio of fillings, pigment, etc. and reduce loss of raw material and pollution to environment. Secondly, improve paper sheet strength (including dry strength and wet strength). Furthermore, application of EC-WA05 will improve tear resistance and porousness of paper, which will improve printing properties. It’s aslo applied in food and tea wrapping paper.

Other industries: For food industry, it can be applied to clarification of sugarcane juice and extraction of syrup by phosphorus floatation during cane sugar and beet sugar production;

Storage: Shelf life is 24 months from production date. Sealed stored in cool and dry at 4℃-30℃ due to its hygroscopicity. Avoid to be scattered on ground in case of slips after moisture absorption.
