cationic polyacrylamide CPAM flocculant is white particles made from copolymerization of acrylamide and cationic monomers (DM, DMC, CPF, DMDAAC, DMAEMA, etc.)
through pelleting, drying and pulverization. Belonging to linear
polymers, it possesses multiple active groups which allow it to absorb
lots of substances and form hydrogen bond. It is mainly used for
flocculating negatively charged colloid, with functions of removal of
turbidity, decolorization, absorption and adhesion. It is applicable for
wastewater treatment of industries as dyeing, paper making, food,
architecture, metallurgy, milling of ores, pulverized coal, oil field,
aquatic product processing and fermentation, especially suitable for
dehydration treatment of municipal sewage, municipal sludge, papermaking
sludge and other industrial sludge.
1. Sludge dewatering: Choose corresponding cationic polyacrylamide from above model no. based on sludge features. It's
applicable to carry on sludge gravity dewatering before filter press
process. Big flocs will be generated in dehydration without sticking to
filter cloth. Sludge will not scatter during filter press process. EC-WA04
cationic polyacrylamide will realize high
dehydration efficiency, small usage amount, and low rate of water
content in filter cake.
2. Treatment of effluent and organic wastewater: EC-WA04
cationic polyacrylamide reveals electropositive in both acidic and alkaline medium,
which will be much helpful for flocculation, sedimentation and
clarification of suspended particles with negative charge in effluent,
such as wastewater of alcohol plant, beer brewery, gourmet powder plant,
sugar refinery, meat product plant, beverage factory, textile dyeing
and printing plant wasterwater with negative charge, etc. Due to
negative charge of those wastewater, effects by EC-WA04 is around
several or even ten times of effects by PAM, NPAM or inorganic salt.
